Watch partial solar eclipse :
There was a solar eclipse in the past Wednesday morning. My maternal grandma took Shirley, John and me to watch it.
We came to the National Science and Technology Museum, and stood in line to enter the briefing room.
John and I were not interested in this kind of activity. We grumbled with one voice, “There's nothing good to see!”
In fact, we would like to go to swimming class. Swimming was much more enjoyable than standing here.
Grandma ridiculed us with patience, “Why the long face!”
After hearing the briefing, we walked outside to watch the eclipse. The sky had already become dimmer.
I assumed it was because the sun was covered by the clouds. But in fact it was covered by the moon.
We took turns to view the sun through solar eclipse glasses. I saw there was a big bite out of the sun.
Just now the narrator had told us we could observe only partial solar eclipse here. If there was a total solar eclipse, the bright day would become dark night!
