口語式短文:我從哪裡來

Where did I come from:

•  Where did I come from? This is a question I have been curious about ever since I was at younger age.

•  I remember when I was younger, Dad fabricated a story once that I was delivered to my family by a stork.

•  But as I gradually grow older, I know that I was born from Mom’s belly.

•  But why and how was I inside Mom’s belly?

•  From several unclear explanations by Mom and Dad, I probably know the answer to this question.

•  It was that a sperm of my Dad met an ovum of my Mom. They joined together to form a zygote which lived in my Mom’s belly.

•  The zygote was the earliest and smallest me. I had lived in a place named womb (or uterus) in Mom’s belly for ten months.

•  After ten months of pregnancy, Mom gave birth to me. Mom and Dad told me that I was born through caesarean section.

•  When I was younger I often had chances to see Mom’s belly scar from the incision for caesarean section. Afterwards the scar gradually faded and finally disappeared.
