• 2020年9月初，泰國姊妹校NRRU大學管理學院教師團來訪，管院曾院長、副院長、屏大國際長及幾位當時沒課的系主任齊聚歡迎NRRU訪問團，並由出席的系主任對系所進行簡單介紹。

A warm welcome to National Pingtung University.

I am Kuohua Chou, serving as the chairman of the Department of Accounting within the College of Management.

At our department, we provide a comprehensive four-year program leading to a bachelor's degree in business administration. As of now, we are yet to introduce a graduate program.

Our aim at the Accounting Department is to equip students with the essential knowledge to thrive in the evolving landscape of business in the future.

The curriculum of our department comprises five distinct yet interconnected concentrations: financial accounting, cost and managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, and accounting information systems.

In addition to these core concentrations, we offer diverse elective courses that combine accounting principles with other facets of business studies, ensuring a broad understanding of fundamental business concepts.

As accounting is essentially an applied social science, our department strongly emphasizes the connection between theory and practice. The majority of our instructors possess practical experience in the field of accounting, and we regularly invite experts from the industry to engage with our students.

Moreover, our students actively participate in VITA (Voluntary Income Tax Assistance), aiding individuals and small businesses in filing income tax returns, thereby gaining valuable insights into the tax preparation process.

Additionally, students have the opportunity to undertake off-campus internship courses spanning either a six-week summer break or an eighteen-week semester. These internships often place students in CPA firms, CPB firms (Certified Public Bookkeeper), government tax agencies, or private companies.

For students interested in academic research, the department also offers project-based courses where instructors guide students in exploring specific research topics.

歡迎來到屏東大學。

我叫 Kuohua Chou ，是管理學院會計系的系主任。

我們會計系提供一個為期四年的工商管理學士學位課程。目前，我們還沒有研究生課程。

會計系的目標是傳授學生必要的知識，讓他們能夠在未來不斷變化的商業環境中成功競爭。

會計系的核心課程可分為五個不同但相互關聯的專業方向：財務會計、成本與管理會計、審計、稅務和會計資訊系統。

除了這些核心專業，我們還提供結合會計和其他商業學科的各種選修課程，確保學生對基本商業概念有廣泛的理解。

由於會計本質上是應用社會科學，我們系非常強調理論與實務之間的聯結。我們大部分的教師有會計領域的實務經驗，並經常邀請實務界的專家與我們的學生交流。

此外，許多學生參與納稅服務隊 (VITA) ，幫助個人和小型企業申報所得稅，並在稅務申報填製過程中獲得寶貴經驗。

學生還可以參加校外實習課程，持續六周的暑假或十八周的整個學期。實習學生通常去會計師事務所或記帳士 (CPB) 事務所，也有一些去政府稅務機構，還有少數去私營企業。

對於有興趣進行學術研究的學生，系上也開設專題製作課程，由老師指導學生進行特定主題的研究探索。
